- The New Yorker reviews a new mystery written in the persona of Wilkie Collins about himself, Charles Dickens, and a creepy guy named Edwin Drood.
- Everything I need to know in life I learned from Charles Dickens, via Gettsr @ Reading List of a Book Pusher.
- Forget Pride and Prejudice and Zombies, "Punisher and Prejudice"--errr, make that "Pride and Predator" will sic aliens on our entangled couples.
- Suzanne Riesman @ CUSS shouts out Anne Lamott's "Bird by Bird," which is indeed the best "writer on writing" book out there (though I haven't read Stephen King's "On Writing" yet, I own it and intend to soon.)
What are you reading or writing this fine Tuesday morn?
Thanks for the link. I enjoyed writing the post so I'm glad others do. I am a writing book junkie myself so I've read both Lamott's and King's book. Personally I think King's book On Writing is tops in the genre. I'd also reccomend Walter Moseley's This Is the Year You Write Your Novel.
