Actually the thought of another Jane Eyre movie makes me want to stick a fork in my eye. I wish Hollywood & BBC would realize that there's more 19th cent. author's out there. Or even dare I say try American Lit. I'd love to see more Hawthorne or Twain. Maybe eve try 20th cent and give us some adaptations of the works of Willa Cather. How about more Laura Ingalls Wilder?

That's such a good point. How many freaking Jane Eyre adaptations are there going to be before they even attempt Villette or Shirley or the Professor?
