Interestingly enough, this reminds me of a reverse version of the way Wordsworth used his sister's exactingly detailed journal entries to inform his poetry.

ReplyDeleteI can see what you mean about Wordsworth and his sister's journal being the reverse. Which reminds me...I need to reread Dorothy's journal...it's such a curious thing. She pens out short beautiful observations and then an abrupt "I mended my shoe" hits. It seems like both have the same weight in her world.
